                                        Mark A. Wood, CBI 

                         

Prior to founding VMW Business Brokers, Inc., Mark was a successful serial entrepreneur with over 20 years experience in small business ownership.  He understands "firsthand" the motivations and concerns one has when it’s time to sell, as well as the need for experienced, professional representation.  “Our goal is to realize maximum value for what is often our client’s single largest asset.  We'll sell your business quickly, quietly and for the best possible price”.

Mark is a Certified Business Intermediary and serves as an active member of the International Business Brokers Association and the Mid-Atlantic Business Intermediaries Association.  He is a trained negotiator through Notre Dame's Mendoza College of Business and is a recognized industry expert who has written numerous articles on the subject of small business sales. 

Mark is a native Washingtonian, who when not helping his clients achieve their business sales goals, enjoys sailing the Chesapeake Bay with his wife Linda and their dog "Sonny".   Email: mark@vmwbusinessbrokers.com    





                                         Ted Burbank, CBI, FIBBA


Ted is a Certified Business Intermediary and a Fellow of the International Business Brokers Association.  He has participated in the valuation and sale of over 2000 companies and is a pioneer in the practice of business sales and valuation.  Ted has authored several books and numerous articles on the subject of small business sales and is a recognized business transfer authority.  Ted has also conducted seminars and addressed trade groups in this country, Canada and abroad on business transfer and valuation issues.

Our name reflects our focus on representing only businesses located in Virginia, Maryland and Washington, DC and primarily the DC Metro area.  Although our marketing programs and associations with other firms attract buyers from across the United States, we believe the care and attention afforded by our local presence is imperative to achieving and maintaining our high level of service.
